Citigate Dewe Rogerson, (CDR) won “Best Corporate Communications Campaign” for MoneyExpert.com “Making sense of money” at last night’s CIPR Excellence Awards.
The Excellence Awards recognise and reward best practice in public relations throughout the UK and acknowledge personal and team achievement at the highest professional level.
The award is given to the corporate communications campaign that builds awareness and enhances company reputation. CDR was the only consultancy to have two campaigns as finalists in the corporate communications category as its work for Prudential’s Smart Retirement: Enhancing Retirement Income was also recognised.
The judges’ citation read, “this campaign dealt with the hardest of corporate communications goals: to take a (relatively) new market entry and build it into a leading commentator and a market authority. The team showed a clear understanding of the market and demonstrated focus and clarity in their approach. The ongoing search engine optimisation programme, combined with online partnerships, is a good example of the need to, and potential of, integrating off and online media coverage to build a brand.”
Commentating on CDR’s success Jonathan Clare, Chief Executive said, “this award is a real testimony to the quality of our work and the effectiveness of the campaigns that we develop and implement for our clients.”
