A founder director of Citigate and Head of Industrials, Ginny has worked in the City for over 30 years. She entered the public relations industry after ten years in investment banking and broking with N.M Rothschild & Sons Ltd and Bankers Trust . Her expertise within the Industrials sectors spans aerospace & defence, engineering, support services, renewables and cleantech, construction and technology.

Her experience includes strategic consultancy advice on over 30 company listings and over 70 M&A deals including contested situations, most recently, Colfax’s £1.52bn bid for Charter; Alere’s £300m bid for Axis-Shield; ABB’s US$2.4bn acquisition of Baldor, USA; the two-sided £1.2bn bid battle between VT Group, Babcock and Mouchel; and Ferrovial’s £10.2bn acquisition of BAA; within the small cap sector she acted on the defence of Flomerics versus Mentor Graphics and the purchase of Raymarine plc by FLIR Systems Inc. Significant high profile campaigns include the divestment of VT’s BVT shipbuilding operations and acquisition of British Nuclear Group Project Services Limited; the positioning of Shanks as a leader in the waste management market and launch advisory support to New Earth Solutions, one of the UK’s largest private waste management companies; crisis communications for John Menzies plc and on-going retained client advisory roles.
