Lyxor’s launch into the UK marked a significant development in the UK ETF market.  Our goal was to position Lyxor’s launch as a catalyst for growth of this market, and not simply another product launch.

Lyxor was the first company to take advantage of the abolition of stamp duty on overseas ETF trading in London.  With the market previously dominated by iShares, Lyxor’s launch provided increased competition in the UK to the benefit of investors, as well as increasing the awareness and popularity of ETFs.
