A York University Theoretical Physics graduate, Martin joined Citigate Dewe Rogerson 19 years ago after nine years in Investment Banking, latterly as a sell-side and corporate analyst within the engineering and capital goods industries. He is responsible for developing CDR’s international Natural Resources practice covering Oil & Gas, Mining and Biofuels. Key IPO projects have included Kazakhstan’s KazMunaiGas EP and KazakhGold; AIM / Lima dual listed Peruvian integrated energy company Maple Energy and AIM listed PRC cement manufacturer and iron ore trader Prosperity Minerals. M&A advisory includes Tullow Oil’s acquisition of Jo'burg listed Energy Africa and ASX / LSE dual listed Hardman Resources; Dana Gas agreed acquisition of TSX / AIM dual listed Centurion Energy and LSE and IEX listed Dragon Oil's agreed acquisition by ENOC. Current clients also include Circle Oil, Regal Petroleum and Sterling Energy.
