AXA Avenue brought the issue of financial capability to life by recruiting two groups of people and monitoring them for a year.
One group was offered financial advice and the other was not with the result that at the end of the year CDR was able to demonstrate the value of independent financial advice to average families.
The campaign was voted PR Week’s Best Financial Campaign in 2006 and produced more than 220 pieces of print and online coverage in its first year as well as more than 100 broadcasts.
